Kool Shades for Kids™ (KSFK), SKU KSFK-VAR4 is a child-sized frame variant of the USA Sports model paper frame. It is identical in materials and production except for the dimensions and specific decoration. KSFK is a product specifically designed for children of the 6-12 age group. The sunglasses are made of 2x250g cardstock frame pieces with 2x.16mm triacetate cellulose (TAC) lenses. The cardstock frame pieces are printed with a decorative design on one side. The lenses are held in place by an adhesive that also cements the two unprinted cardstock sides of the frame together. The sunglass stems are scored to allow the stems to bend. This product may have various printed ink decorations according to different customer specifications but otherwise does not differ substantially between production runs.

The colored ink is a potential source of Lead and the TAC lenses are a potential source of Phthalates. The cardstock and adhesive materials have been tested and certified free of all criteria substances by European RoHS standards.
